Eligibility / Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the required educational qualification for the selected subject and paper.
For Paper I — Secondary Level, Classes 9–10, candidates generally require a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed., or a Master's Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed.
A four-year B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. qualification may also be accepted for Paper I, subject to the official subject-wise rules.
For Paper II — Senior Secondary Level, Classes 11–12, candidates generally require a Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. or an equivalent prescribed qualification.
A Master's Degree with 55% marks and a three-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification may also be accepted for Paper II, subject to the official notification.
The subject selected in the application must match the subject studied at graduation or post-graduation level.
